Move
Seated and standing shapes, supported stretching, body awareness, strength, and stamina.
Gentle, practical support for the physical changes of pregnancy and the mental and emotional work of getting ready for birth.
My prenatal yoga classes support the obvious physical changes of a pregnant body as well as the quieter mental and emotional shifts of pregnancy.
Shapes are chosen to ease aches and pains, balance your body, encourage baby toward an ideal position, and help you discover coping strategies for labor. Breathing and relaxation techniques support your nervous system so you can stay calm and present.
Please note that my classes are not new-age or woo-woo style. I am passionate about functional movement, confidence in moving your body, and relaxation. Classes are similar in style to yoga because the shapes can link together and because shapes taught in fitness and yoga classes overlap.
Weekly class: Thursdays at 7:15 p.m. at Yoga Revolution CLE in North Royalton, Ohio. Private and group sessions are also available.Ask about a class
